The morning after our exciting launch tour of Legends & Lore, we received this lovely e-mail from guests, Karen and Bernard Stokes:
Want to thank you for a brilliant evening last night. You are all very professional. 10 out of 10 for entertainment value. You will certainly see us again, in the flesh, on one of your Ghost Walks. The best night out for ages.”
Tour guest Margaret Lockerbie sent in these encouraging comments:
I really enjoyed a most informative and exciting evening with the team and other participants on the tour, the darkness added to the thrill of the evening and I look forward to attending future tours with the team.
Delighted to receive this exciting feedback from tour guest, Sarah Whitley:
A thrilling night of legend and lore at Lochmaben Castle. One not to be missed - who knows what you may discover, you may get more than you bargained for!”
A beautifully descriptive review from tour guest, Nick Harkins:
The Lochmaben tour is a dramatic and fascinating journey through the spooky myths and legends surrounding Lochmaben Castle. The location is stunning; the castle exudes a brooding air of menace as it slowly crumbles by the tranquil waters of the loch. And, as our tour discovered, it’s not entirely outside the realms of possibility that some of the castle’s former inhabitants never really left…”

Sir, I just wanted to take the opportunity to say a big thanks to Mostly Ghostly who presented Legend and Lore at Lochmaben Castle from the Arts Festival and to say how much we enjoyed our night at the castle with its quiet woodlands and still waters of the loch.
Their terrifying tales made our hair stand on end. My husband doesn’t believe in such things but that night he said he felt something and saw a woman in the castle wall, as did others in the group.
The atmosphere was electric during the group vigil at the end of the night and we have been on a high ever since our eerie experience.
We are looking forward to the next Mostly Ghostly event and tour around darkest Dumfries. We hope we are joined by family and friends. Well done Mostly Ghostly, and Kathleen Cronie. You made it an unforgettable experience.”
